We are happy to have you join us at Dixie State University to enjoy the festivities of DocUtah, the beauty of our area and to increase your photographic and producing skills.
This website is created to share and curate the content of the Masters class. My colleague and friend, Dr. Xi Cui, translated and edited the content I've written, the chapters of which you can find in the tabs above; The Landscape, The Documentary Interview and The Documentary Context.
Click on the schedule and you will see three class days of photographic technique; one lecture day, one studio day to practice interviewing techniques and one field trip day to Zion National Park to put into practice the landscape photography tips we discussed in class.
Upon our return from Zion, you will edit your photographical take and submit your best work for adjudication with awards and certificates granted during our last meeting on Friday morning.
